The “Accreditation” section contains information on the accreditation rules for representatives of Russian and foreign mass media who wish to participate in covering the international events program in May 2010, which will include participation by heads of foreign countries and official delegations as part of celebrating the 65th anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War.
The Accreditation and Briefings Department of the Press Office and Information Administration of the President of the Russian Federation has started accepting applications to participate in highlighting the events dedicated to the 65th Anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War of 1941/1945 (May 8-9, 2010).
The objective of the “HURRAH VICTORY!” event is the massive involvement of Russia’s people, chiefly youth, in celebrating the 65th Anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War through the use of their cell phones (ringtones and dial tones with Victory songs and graphic themes for cell phone displays, as well as other services).
On the Fatherland Defender’s Day, the Eternal Flame returned to the Aleksandrovsky Garden from the Poklonnaya Hill, where it had been moved for restoration in December 2009.

Accreditation of journalists
The 65th Victory Day celebrations will be broadcast live. Special areas will be available for stand up and mobile satellite communication stations for TV personnel.
